The weather has finally cooled down a bit around here which I am very thankful for! We had Lachlan's bbq last night which was nice and fun. Lots of meat cooked on the bbq and some nice salads follwed by birthday cake! Up above is all the girls, my sister Narelle, my dog Tess - Lachlan thought it funny to pop her into the photo and my auntie who is next to her had no idea what he was doing but my sister and I were in fits of laughter as we could both see him doing it. Luckily Tess likes getting her picture taken, lol! Isabelle is at the front and then mum and me.
I think this is the first photo that I have of Lachlan smiling, doesnt he look so nice showing his teeth for once in a photo without a frown when he sees the camera. My sister was tickling him I think to get him to smile and I caught him at the right moment.
Paul and Jake our kelpie! Jake loves Paul so much. As soon as he hears him pull up in the driveway you see him rush to the garage door so I always know when he is home. I think I lucked out this weekend as Paul rarely likes pics taken of him too. My camera has been getting more of a workout lately so that is good news. I finally finished Isabelle's Tiny Tea Leaves cardigan too but I think I cast off the bands too tightly so I may need to cast them off a bit more loosely! Hopefully pictures tomorrow as everyone had a horrible night's sleep which doesnt bode well for co-operation today. I think we may all need to head to bed early tonight so we feel a bit more energised tomorrow! Oh and Lachlan's course sounds promising so fingers crossed!
