2009 - FO No. 26

I am still knitting here you know! Sadly this little cat should have been finished off weeks ago but I hadnt attached his ears or sewn on his face. Now he is completed, (although I did cheat and sew his eyes and nose on out of flannel fabric instead of knitting them).

Pattern: Amazing Cat by Twins

Yarn: Spotlight 8 ply basic, mustard and brown, 1 ball of each.

It didnt take very long at all to knit up all the pieces. I could have knit them in a day if I didnt do any other knitting at all, but I spent about 2 nights doing all the bits and pieces. I really do like this pattern and twins have a lot of other fantastic patterns too, like a dog, a rabbit, a frog, a little bear with clothes, so if you like this one you should pop on over and take a peek!

2008 - FO No 26

Pattern: Design A Cardigan from Little Sweet Peas book 332

Started: May 2008 Finished 26 June 2008

Size: 6-7 years, used 5 balls of Sirdar Snuggly yarn

This cardigan is the first time I have really attempted a lacey pattern. It drove me crazy for the first repeat as I kept making a mistake in one row. After that it all went smoothly, apart from the fact that I didnt read the collar pattern properly so there are no garter ridges on the edge of the collar. When I have time I will have to get a photo of Isabelle in it so you can see how it fits. I absolutely love this one so I hope it wears well. It is not too thick so she should be able to wear it during summer over some dresses without getting a chill. Now off to knit some more. Have a great day!
