FO No. 24

Pattern: Gentleman's Fancy Socks from Knitting Vintage Socks by Nancy Bush
Yarn: Pansy by Katt - I used 1 skein and a little tiny bit of the other skein for the casting off of the toe on the second sock.
I finished knitting these last night, and photographed them just so you could all see that I do still knit adult items. I even cast on for another pair out of some more yarn that Katt dyed for me, but I will wait until I have some progress on those. I am so glad that these are now finished!

Nice socks, they look super long for only 1 and a tiny bit skeins. Just reading through your previous posts and saw you made a soft toy. I am knitting one from Knitty but I've never stuffed anything in my life. Any tips on getting it well shaped?

Love those socks! I sent your pattern yesterday Sue. I'm so sorry, I found the envelope deep under a pile of stuff on my desk. I thought I had sent it but there it was. Sorry for the delay and I hope you like it.

Everyone is right! Those socks are beautiful. I'll have to dig out my copy of the book and see if I can come up with anything anywhere near as nice.

Happy birthday for Sunday, Sue. Our youngest turns 36 today! Thank you for your lovely comment on my blog. I don't have time to check your blog in detail today (we are cleaning the empty house) but will do so when we are back on air - whenever that is!
I hope your meal was delicious (and that the chicken pox is over - I caught mumps off my kids when they were little - so stay well!)
Cheers.
