A Birthday Gift

Joyce emailed me around the time of my birthday in September and mentioned that she would be sending me a birthday present. I was so surprised and excited since I have never officially met Joyce as we live on opposite sides of the world. Well today, feeling rather blue (yes I have days like these occasionally), I heard the postie and went to check the letterbox and found Joyce's present for me. Isnt the card and the little gift box of patterns just super special. It has brightened up my day considerably and I am sure that very soon you will be seeing some new knitted hats, scarves and mittens from these pretty patterns. I am going to treasure this present and THANK YOU JOYCE for being so nice to me.
Thank you to everyone who left comments on the green textured jacket too, they made me feel so happy. Hope everyone has a lovely lovely happy day!

I'm looking forward to projects from there! Isn't it nice how those sorts of packages seem to come on the days you most need them?

The Hats, mittens and scarves book looks great. Is there a lot of great things to knit from it??

Have a great weekend :)
And I think I will have the hat for myself ;) My daughter don't like hats made of wool - it's itches...
