I also have to have a little vent as the last 2 days have worn me down quite a bit, so if you wish to stop reading do so now.
- Lachlan is suspended from school after being in a nasty fight with 2 boys, luckily nothing broken.
- A bill from Centrelink advising that I need to pay back over $5,000 to them because Paul hasnt done his bloody tax return for that year. We can guess where Paul will be next week and what he will be doing. Hopefully that will clear the matter up.
- Paul rang me at 8:00 this morning to say that one of our friends, Mal, (who we didnt get to see much lately) passed away this week. He was only in his 50's. We have no idea what happened and we will find out tomorrow at the service. My mum will have Lachlan for the morning and Isabelle will be at school so I can go and attend the service. I really dont like taking children to funerals if I can help it, although my children have attended them and understand what they are about. I always feel so much for the family members that are left behind. He has 2 children and this year a new granddaughter which makes me sad knowing that she wont really get to know him as a person.
I apologise now for whining about everything, but sometimes things just pop up out of nowhere and then they seem to escalate all into the one week. I already suffer from anxiety and take medication for it, so this week is a bit testing for me. I think I need to take a big deep breath and a stiff drink (only joking) but it would be nice. I try and not talk about the anxiety too much as it is overwhelming at times, and some people dont understand unless they suffer with it themselves. Well I best go and get dinner prepared and I hope I havent scared any of you off with me talking about my little insecurities. Talk to you all later in the week

My thoughts are with you Sue! Some weeks are sent to try us.
Look after yourself Sue - a whine and a vent is essential some days.
Looks like whent it rains at your - it is pouring!
I'm so sorry for what you've been having to deal with. Here's hoping for much better days ahead!
Nah, you haven't scared me off. We all have our own, too. But you're a lot braver for owning up to yours. Take care! And just think next week will be different.
I'm hoping things start looking up soon - sending hugs and positive thoughts your way! =)
Sue you won a prize on my blog snailblazer.blogspot.com Can you drop me an email with your address
I can't believe you are apologizing for your "little insecurities" -- those are all huge stressors! Any one of them alone would be worthy of blog venting. I'm so sorry to hear about your friend, your money, and Lachlan's suspension. I hope next week is a really good one -- to cosmically balance out this really crappy one.
Oh, dear Sue! First of all, I know very well what you mean about the anxiety and people not really understanding what it's about unless they're suffering from it too. I'm suffering from anxiety too and also take medication for it (which works quite well I have to say), and I sure understand that this week is a very testing one for you. Sometimes it seems as if things - negative, not so nice things - never come alone, they so often carry a tail of other unpleasant events with them. As you so perfectly said it, then it just helps taking a deep breath and trying to go through it somehow - usually it works somehow, and I'm sending over lots and lots of positive energies and good vibes to you. You're strong and you'll make it, I have no doubts about that! And just think, afterwards, when it's all over, you can take another deep breath, sit down and take some "me-time" for yourself, knitting and relaxing and unwinding!
And please, don't ever apologize for writing about this in your blog! We care for you, and we're not here for the good times only! Actually, it's often amazing to realize how much people out there who read your blog and don't even know you in person care - I've often realized this with my blog, it's stunning what a lot of sympathy and care comes from people who are - almost - strangers! And ranting a bit helps, it helps big time!
I hope all goes well - but it will!! All the best to you, Sue!
