2008 - FO 1

The first FO for 2008 is the Little Angels top. I loved knitting this pattern, so simple and easy, although the Caressa fluffy yarn Isabelle picked out made me itch. I found the blue two toned ribbon at Wildpurl on the weekend and it suits it perfectly. Here is Isabelle modelling it this morning. She didnt wear it for long though as it is a bit warm today.

Pattern: Little Angels from Sublime Book 607

Size: 66cms (24 inches)

Yarn: Caressa (about 3 balls), 1 bit of Zara yarn, light blue

Now onto finishing off the ballet wrap cardigan which only needs the ties completed, and finish knitting the back of Erin which is almost done. I need to rethink my sister's sweater too as I am not feeling the love for it anymore. She doesnt know I am making it so I might have a look today at some other options to make.

Thank you too for all your New Year's wishes for our family. This year I am going to try and lose some weight, get fitter, and do more things as a family unit. We didnt do much last year together and I think it added stress to us all. So bring on 2008 although not as quickly as 2007 flew by.

Happy New Year. Hope yopu can manage to reach your goals.
The little tank top is beautiful.
I love the borders.
We are freezing around here, they said it would snow today.
Thinking of you near the AC.

Happy New Year Sue! I agree, I wouldn't mind if time slowed somewhat in 2008.

Isabelle looks gorgeous in her little top. Lucky girl!

How cute! Love the top, does Isabell know how good she has it?! Having loads of georgous knitted garments! That smile on her face tells me she does!

Simple is the best! And Isabelle is lovely as always!
Hope you'll make it with getting fitter, 'cause I know how hard something like that can be - specially if you have nagging hubby like me!

This is so pretty, lucky Isabelle.

I know just what you mean about the year flying by, is this some sort of by-product of getting older, time seems to get faster and faster!
