The lovely Roo had a little competition to guess how many socks she could knit with her wonderful collection of sock yarn and I was the lucky winner. I got to choose any skein I liked from her stash and chose some STR Little Bunny Foo Foo colorway, and I have to say it is absolutely beautiful. THANK YOU so much Roo for the wonderful gift of yarn, and I had such fun playing too. Now all I need is the perfect sock pattern for this beautiful yarn, any ideas anyone?

Yummy Yarn!

My gosh, that yarn is too yummy. And you know I'm on a stash diet. Reminds me of Neopolitan ice cream. I must say I'm really liking the Monkey Socks on Knitty. You'll love them, and the STR too.
I think Monkey would work with that yarn too. It's gorgeous - and so nice to knit with!
Or, what about some handwarmers/mitts?

Sue, you're amazing! You've already finished more in '08 than I'll manage all year! I especially love the ballet wrap cardigan...and especially on such a lovely model! And belated happy birthday to Lachlan -- oh, I remember 14 (barely, though.) I saw the Monkey socks up close once when a friend made them, and they are pretty neat.
