2008 - FO No. 29
Pattern: Cherish baby cardigan and hat by Sirdar (Knitting 2008 Issue 46)
Size: Premature (36 cms)
Yarn: Sirdar Snuggly 4 ply 1.5 balls
Started: Friday and finished Sunday (last week)
This little baby set is for one of Corrie's soon to be born twins. I love the dusty blue of this Sirdar yarn and it is so soft. I havent washed it as I think newborn clothes should be handwashed in the same powders that their families use so no allergies or reactions occur from a different one. I do hope Corrie will like this for her new son. I am halfway through the one for her little girl so hopefully I will be able to send these off next week to her. I cannot believe that I knitted the little premmie jacket out of only 1 ball of wool and the hat only took about 1/2 a ball.
Tomorrow more photos and a meme too.

just one ball? That's amazing, I love the shape.
What a dear little set! Who wouldn't love them?!
How precious is that!!!! Cute pattern.
So cute! The size (a jacket out of one ball) reminds me of the things I knit for my my son when he was born. He was full term but tiny - just 2 kilos.
Wow, Sue, all your FOs look great! You are a fast knitter! :0)
It is adorable! A baby will be well-dressed in this. :)
Another beautiful knit - well done!
That is too cute! Love the matching hat.
OMG, its so cute ... and so tiny!
