Knitting Update and More Internet Shopping!

I finally remembered to post some WIP pics of my knitting. I have been very slack in posting them for the last couple of months, I think ever since I did my list of WIP projects.
These are the 2 sleeves of the Cable and Lacy Wrap from Baby Knits by Lois Daykin. I am making this for a gift for another blogger who is due very soon so I hope she will like it. This is the 6 - 12 month size, and the body is done in 1 piece so I shall cast on for that today. The sleeves were cast on yesterday and I managed to finish both of them last night.

The postman came knocking on my door again this morning. I had ordered some Knitpicks dpns from Meaghan who runs a wonderful online knitting store. There are 6 different sizes from 2.00mm to 3.25mm (and a set of 6 for each). They are beautifully colored too and I much prefer wooden ones as the metal ones tend to be very slippery when I knit socks.
I also ordered some Cascade Heritage Sock yarn. The color is 5612 in case anyone was wondering. It is a beautiful shade of green and I am thinking of knitting some cabled socks in these, but cant decide which pattern yet. I also purchased the Inspired to Knit book which has some really beautiful patterns in it. I do hope to knit one from the book for myself, but I did see a few I could knit for my sister too. She doesnt knit at all so I knit her some items and she quilts things for me which works out well for both of us. So that is about it for now, must get back to some housework which I sometimes wish I didnt have to do instead preferring to sit and craft. Wouldnt it be nice to do that more often.

I love wodden DPN's the metal are too slippery and I really do not like the feel.
Kennedy's dress is made from the cotton-ease from lionbrand. I made Katie's hat from it as well and I love how it feels and how it looks knitted up!
