Internet Shopping!

I have been shopping on the internet for some yarny goodness lately. I thought I would show you 2 of the most beautiful sock yarns I just recently purchased.
They are both Cherry Tree Hill sock yarn which I have never used before but the colors are quite vibrant and beautiful. The blue one is called blue/purple and the purple/pink one is called Jewels. I purchased these locally from Lisa at Yarnomat who is in Williamstown, where my fave yarn store just happens to be too, Stitchery Blue. She is just about to put the prices up on some of her sock yarns so I just couldnt help myself. They only took 2 days to arrive too.

I also bought some magazines from The Wool Shack, Knitscene and the DB magazine which looks fantastic so far. I do plan on sitting down tonight and reading some of the articles in it. She has some really lovely patterns in there too, some of which you can find on ravelry.

I havent done much knitting this weekend, apart from a red and white baby beanie out of some of the new colors from Bendigo Woollen Mills. The red is really quite nice. It is for the new little boy born last week so I can pop it into his baby gift now and gift it. I also have to finish off some items for my swap pal as the parcels are due to be sent out on the first week of November which really isnt too far away. I do hope she will like what I send her. Now just to convince Isabelle to try that sweater on so I can get a pic!!

Oh I've been wanting to get some of that CTH yarn for ages, it looks so beautiful! Can I justify getting yet more yarn to add to my rather large sock yarn stash...? ;)
