A Thankful Post!

Look at what I found at the Angus and Robertson book shop last week. I had seen a few photos on some friend's blogs in the last few weeks and loved it, so I popped one home with me to look through and see all the great designers too. Pip is really an inspiring lady isnt she. I think I will have to make a trip one day to her store too!

Another wonderful lady who I know through her blog is Jhoanna. She really is an inspiration in toy making, and if you havent checked her out yet you must pop on over and take a peep. I am sure you will be most positively inspired. She read of our terrible troubles (which still arent sorted as yet) and decided to send me a wonderful gift, her pattern for the Cheery Chimp. Isnt he just a gorgeous fellow. Once I find the right fabrics I am going to give him a go, and I am sure he will take my mind off more stressful things. THANK YOU so much Jhoanna, you definately brightened my week. Isabelle quite likes him too.

We had a sickly ending to the school holidays wtih Isabelle getting so stressed out about the For Sale sign that it got to her and she broke out in shingles last week. I really thought she had been bitten by something and thought it might go away in a day or so but then it appeared to be getting worse, so off to the doctors on Monday and after some antibiotics she is really feeling much better. The shingles are starting to look better too thank goodness so she popped back to school yesterday to beat the boredom at home. Their not contagious so I was very relieved. She has a little sleepover party on Friday night for one of her classmates. I am hoping she will be very excited and this will be a new chapter for her as she has never really stayed overnight anywhere without us. She wont even sleep at my mum's house if we need her to so suffice to say my nights of going out were very limited over the last 7 years. Tonight we will go and buy a pressie and be all set for tomorrow night! I will have a very quiet house as Lachlan is staying at his friend's too so I wont know myself. Knowing my luck I probably wont sleep without Isabelle being home with me. I think I will be spending my night crafting and knitting!!!

That's a nice gift! I hope that she is feeling much better. Enjoy your night by yourself - I don't even know what that's like with 4 kids - someone's always around! :)
