Labels that is. I saw a post over on Corrie's blog a few weeks ago, and thought how nice her labels looked. I decided to order some to sew into my knitted baby gifts so that people would remember who made them. The photo is a little dull and blurry today, to match the weather outside!
Knitting has been happening. Two babies are due in July and one in August. Thankfully the fourth one I thought is due in July is really due in October, dont know how I thought that one was early so it makes it easier to finish off some things. I bought the Family Circle last week and they had some really nice knitting patterns in it so I am knitting one of the jackets as a gift. I also have a blanket on the go for the other gift, and the last one is for a baby girl who is due just before Isabelle's birthday so I will try and find something really sweet and girly to make up.
The loan saga is still continuing and I will be glad when it is all over and finalised. The company who got us into the bad loan in the first place are now trying to rectify things so we will see what they come up with. I am still job hunting (no luck if your a SAHM for a few years) so come the end of June I am going to try and find a course to do, hopefully as an integration aid and do some work at a school (fingers crossed). Nothing much else is happening around so when it is quiet I say make the most of it and knit!!!

Lovely labels! Crossing my fingers it all gets sorted and crossing fingers for the job you want.
I love your labels! Very nice idea.
I sure hope that loan company makes things right ~ certainly the burden is on them.
I think the idea of taking a few courses is a wonderful idea and you might find that you enjoy it. In the meantime, do enjoy your lull and knit on!
oooo labels! something I need also!
Good luck with course - that is great idea - permanent education!
The labels look great!
Hope the loan company sort things out for you guys. And good luck on the job hunting!
The labels look great! And they really do add a personalized touch to your projects.
Good luck to you! I hope they can sort things out.
Yeah, I have a feeling that I will be in the same boat for the job market when the time comes (when Melody is older). SAHM should be a job title. It's certainly is the hardest job I have ever had.
Gosh Sue, you would make a wonderful integration aid. In fact you would make a great Classroom Aid and if I was still in Oz I would write you a reference. I suppose I can even from here if you want me too.
Take that one on seriously!!!
Cheers Gillian
Nice labels! Do I want some? Hmm!
I love the labels - and all the cute little hats and animals - you've been busy. Hope all the loan stuff gets resolved soon... and good luck on the job hunt - I'm dreading the SAHM bit when I try and go back next year....
Cute labels! Need to get myself some! Just gives your homemade knits an even more personal touch. Cool!
I like the labels. I need to find some of those. Pat yourself on the back for being a SAHM. It is the most important and rewarding job:).
I love the labels! Good luck with the job search and the house. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you :-)
Where did you get your labels? I am interested in sourcin out some to get myself
I hope all the finacial problems get sorted real soon.
I sort of know where you are coming from on the work front. I went from being a student til I was 21 to having kids. I have never worked. Its not going to be easy at all for me to get a job when time comes. Good luck with it!! I hope you get one real soon.
They are very cute labels. Hope it all works out for you soon.
Cute labels! Hope all goes well with your loan saga!
oh they look lovely! hope your loan gets sorted out soon! what a nightmare...I'd be hopeless trying to find a job and I've only been out of the workforce for 3 years. I'd spend all my time in the tea room chatting to everyone I think!
Corrie:)
Nice labels & I am sure they will add the finishing touch to your hand knits especially with so many babies coming along.
Oooh, those are really cute Sue. They'll be perfect. I'm anxious to see your baby knits!
