Day 18 ......

is Tess, our little jack russell. She is about 6 years old now and very sweet! The only thing I dont like her doing is barking at people walking past our front fence. If she doesnt know who they are she will tell them off. She loves Jake to death and frets if he isnt there. She also steals all of Jake's raw chicken wings out of his bowl and hides them underneath the trampoline so she can eat them later on. She is a very good guard dog though, and if anyone tried to sneak into the backyard she would be the first to let you know about it. We got Tess when Isabelle was nearly 2 I think. Friends of ours had puppies and we got to choose which one we wanted. I picked her because she had the least markings I guess. She doenst now though. Sometimes I do wish that she was a short haired one though because trying to pick prickles out of her fur is painful for her and for me, I feel guilty when she cries out if I have accidentally taken a bit of fur off too. I have to say that I love our dogs, they have such personalities of their own dont they.

Tess looks like a gorgeous little dog. My girls are begging for a small inside dog (we have 3 farm dogs) and I do like the look of Tess.

Oh Sue she is gorgeous.....what a joy she would be to have around. I know what you have to go through with the hair though...my little darling is a 'Papillon' with much longer hair than Tess, so its brush, brush, brush all the time.
Kind Regards

She is a sweet heart! I have a JR too, so I totally get her cheeky personality, you can see it in her eyes. Don't they make the best guard dogs, no one is able to get near our place without the whole street knowing about it.
