Day 4 .....

is another FO, I think I am up to 30 now. I started knitting this cute little scarf on Friday night at my mum's house. I finished it up last night as the pattern is really easy to remember once you get going. It is called the Honeycomb Scarf which is a free download on ravelry (www.inoriz.com) and it is child sized. Isabelle tried it on and it did fit her (just) so I think it is probably better for smaller kids up to the age of 6! Isabelle is more like a 10 year old than an 8 year old and she did say I could make it longer for her and in pink! The pattern does suggest that if you use chunkier yarn it will come out larger sized. I used Panda Soft in a terracotta color which I love. Now I just need to decide who to gift it to, or I could just have a little giveaway for it .... will see how many people would like to first! Okay off to sort those UFO's out and hopefully get some kind of order to them. The kids go back to school tomorrow so I should hopefully have some peace and quiet to the day.

I love that little scarf. I might have to check out the pattern and make myself one. I never know what to do with the long tails of a scarf once you have knotted it so this would be perfect.

Hope you have a peaceful day Sue, it will be nice to get a bit of order in our house! Although I have enjoyed the holidays. Your little scarf is so sweet xo ps I mentioned to Kylie at the Daylesford P.O. that we had a mutual friend!

I love these little accent projects! They really allow you to dress with style - whether you are in the under age 8 set or the over 40 set :)

I love it - I'm going to have to check out the pattern. I've been looking for something like this in a child size.
