2010 - FO No 10

Pattern:  Tweezle and Jack and the Beanie from the Enchanted Garden by Louisa Harding
Size:  1-2 years
Started:  March 2010 and finished 14th April 2010
Yarn:     Bendigo Woollen Mills Harmony (light blue 3.5 balls 50gm) (dark blue .5 balls)
Needles: 3.25 and 4.00 mm

I decided to knit this pattern up after seeing the wonderful one that Knitterella had knit up for her son.  I had some harmony yarn in my stash and the dark blue was from a few years back that I hadnt ended up using for anything in particular.  I really loved the way the yarn knit up for this pattern and I decided to knit the beanie from the same book but try and make it similar to the sweater, thus the garter stitch border in different colors like the sweater.  Now to pop it into the pressie box which has been emptied a bit lately because my sister has been having a few friends with new babies so she has been buying some off me which is great.

My fourth pair of socks are going well, nearly done with the first one and then to start the second one!  I have decided I am going to try and knit the Citron shawl too out of some sock yarn, just trying to work out which color to use and then I will be set to go!  I started a new knit for Isabelle too last night, called Little Scout from one of the sublime books out of some luxury 8 ply in a lavender color.  Should be perfect for winter since the weather has cooled quite considerably this week and she has outgrown quite a few of the handknits I have made for her.  Just trying to decide what to do with them all as they are still in perfect condition.  Any suggestions would be very helpful!  Okay off to knit for a little bit!

This looks so cute. I'm hoping I will be motivated to pick up my needles again if I visit some bloggy friends :)

Now that's very cute. I might even need to add it to my own rav queue! Though at the rate I knit it might need to be for child 2 (not to be born till this October...!) when they're 2 rather than the current one!!
