2010 - Fo No 8

I just thought I would pop in and show you my latest FO which was finished last night.  This is the hat pattern that my friend Katt designed and I finally got around to knitting it up.  It looks great on Isabelle too!  Okay so here are the details -
Pattern:  Rastacat hat
Yarn:  Sean Sheep Rockbank yarn from Big W (1.5 balls)
Started: 3rd April and finished 4th April 2010
Needles: 5.5mm and 4mm  - I didnt use circs of dpns as I didnt have any in the correct size so I knit mine on straights and seamed the back.  You cannot really tell the seaming so I think it still looks nice.

Hope you all had a very lovely Easter break too.  We had a quiet one and the kids got some lovely eggs and chocolate.  This week is the last of the holidays before back to school.  Hopefully tomorrow we can get to the movies to see Alice in Wonderland!  Have a nice break!

Hi Sue, great hat. My girls are really into hats. I can see this one would be a winner. Enjoy the rest of your holidays.

Thanks for the comment on my blog. I'm sure it seems like just the blink of an eye since your own little girl turned two!

Hi Sue, Martha just saw this hat and has
'ordered" one - is it hard? I have never knitted on 4 needles ever and the thought of doing terrifies me!
I would be most happy with a seam : )

I will have something to show you soon!!!!
