Another Sock Club delivery!

I am really enjoying my sock club deliveres from Lush!  This is the April instalment and I received another gorgeous skein of yarn, this time Chartreuse is the color.  My sister commented how much she loved it too but I decided before they arrived that the sock club yarns were going to be knit into socks for ME.  I also received a sock pattern, some natural goat soap, and a cute little notepad.  I am knitting up a different pattern to the one that they sent me though and I will tell you all about that another day, but I have gotten past the heel on the first sock.  I must stop knitting so much on socks for such a long period of time as I get rather sore arms for some reason.  Maybe scheduled hourly knits on the socks might be a better idea!  The cold weather we have been having in Melbourne has made me want to snuggle under a blanket on the couch and knit away though, and I have even turned the heater on too.  Stay warm!

Ooo! That is cool. The weather has cooled in western Sydney but not that much. 9*C last night; 27*C today.

Lovely yarn & goodies. My fingers ache if I knit socks all the time so I have a few projects with different needles sizes & stitch patterns. I try to spend equal time with each project every day. It helps.

You are certainly doing well with the socks this year. I'm afraid I'm languishing again and thinking of a trip to the LYS for fresh supplies for a waistcoat instead.
Great green!
Cheers Gillian

Has the weather turned cool? It was lovely and mild when I was there last week... but then my perceptions are probably skewed due to living further south :)
I love all your sock pictures (9 days?? those puddle socks *must* be addictive), and the sewn pears are gorgeous!! I may have to cobble one of those together just to try it.
thanks for visiting my blog :)
