If You Like Ravelry But Sew Instead of Knit or Crochet

then you might like this new idea that Lynne sent to me via email.  It is called mysewingcircle.com which is set up like ravelry for knitters and crocheters but this is for people who love to sew.  There are a few members already and I have just joined up today.  You can find me as snooks (the same as my ravelry name) to make it easier if people want to friend me on the site.  I am sure a lot of you wonderful people out there will find this a really fabulous idea and I can just imagine all the beautiful projects you will find once it gets going!  Well what are you waiting for, pop on over and join up - I am sure it will take off like ravelry has.

Good to see that some people I emailed have already joined me. I'm Elle Bee because I thought never2hot2knit was a bit inappropriate!! LOL

There is also patternreview.com, which has been around for quite awhile-- since way before ravelry, for sure. I haven't been there for awhile, but it is a great resource, although maybe not as "social network-y" as rav.

Wow Sue -- thanks for the tip. I've never heard of this site. I'm still not very good at using Ravelry -- just never take the time to spend snooping around over there.
