2010 - FO No. 15

Pattern:  Little Frou Frou from Sublime 4 Ply Book No 616
Size:  6 months
Yarn:  BWM Melody, about 3 balls
Started:  Thursday 16th June and finished today

I thought I would take a little break from the second elephant after attempting to knit his ears and doing them wrong 3 times.  I finally got them right after trying again the next day but in the meantime I started this as a little stashbuster/gift item.  It only took 3 days to knit up and today was spent seaming it together.  I think it is rather quite cute and perfect for summer over a little dress or a long sleeve t-shirt if it gets too chilly.  There is a version with the longer sleeves too.  I think all the cold weather we are having is just perfect for settting the mood to knit a lot lately so I hope to get a lot more done.  Happy knitting!!

It is great when you can stash bust a bit of yarn and do it in a couple of days. It is very pretty.

This little sweater is precious. I really like the short sleeves on it. It is sometimes better to put something down when it isn't working and come back to it. This little diversion seems perfect!

Lovely colour; the picot edging around the neck is sweet.
