Loani Is So Generous!

I was so lucky last week to win a giveaway from Loani who designs the wonderful tea cosies.  Have you visited her over on her blog, you should pay her a visit and I am sure you will be inspired to knit some tea cozies too.  Anyway ... she was having a little giveaway for a book called The Close Knit Gang by the swedish sister team Milla Mia.  Now I have been eyeing off this book a lot lately waiting for it to arrive in Australia, (which it has now) and so when I saw Loani's post offering one to giveaway I could not resist.  She contacted me last week saying I had won the extra copy she had and I was so excited and happy!

Today the postman promptly left the parcel in my door (he never knocks anymore) and I rushed excitedly to the door to see if it was the parcel I had been waiting on.  I picked it up and thought it felt very heavy for a knitting book so imagine my surprise when I discovered Loani had popped in a copy of her Wild Tea Cosies book too (and it is signed personally).  Oh wow!  A big THANK YOU LOANI for both books, you have made my day today.  I will surely take the tea cosies book to my mum's too on the weekend as she is an avid knitter and will love your tea cosie patterns too.  Now just to decide which one to knit up is going to be a hard decision.

By the way the Milla Mia book is full of gorgeous patterns and I am just hoping that I can knit them up in BWM Luxury 4 ply which I have in my stash.  It should hopefully work perfectly.  I will let you know how I go or I could even use Bendigo Woollen Mills Melody too!
