Day 25

Another ball of yarn from BWM (who by the way are having a sale until the end of November, and yes they post overseas).  This is allegro wool which I really love using for kids' knits, so soft with a little bit of springiness to it.

I really dont know where today has gone, I did my housework chores which wasnt too much, dropped Isabelle at a party which I will be picking her up from in about half an hour, cooked roast chicken and vegies, washed all the dishes and now I just have to make lunches for everyone tonight so they are ready to go in the morning!  I havent even touched my knitting which explains why there are no finished photos to show you.  Isabelle has decided to start knitting again and is practising a little monster.  Only problem is she doesnt take the stitches off properly every now and then and ended up with 9 extra stitches.  I had to pull it back and reknit it and still havent gotten around to the last few rows.  I might quickly do it whilst she is in the shower so it is ready for when she gets out.  I will have to sit and watch her tonight to get her into a better habit of knowing when she hasnt carried the stitch over correctly, otherwise it will feel like I am knitting it!  Okay must dash....

Once Isabelle gets her knitting act into gear you can sit and knit next to her!!!
Some days just go, and I don't know where they go!!

The Grade Twos at my kid's schools were all learning how to knit and every craft lesson we Mums would go in to help out. You have no idea HOW MANY ways it is possible to stuff up one's knitting!

How fun that Isabelle is interested in knitting -- tell her good luck and have fun!

This is DEFINITELY my colour - love it!
Once Isabelle masters knitting, don't forget, you have offered (????) to teach my kids to knit.

I know how you feel as it's the same with me. The day just passed by so quickly & I can only sit down with my knitting at about 8pm.

Love the colour of this skein.

I admire your patience in teaching your daughter how to knit. I tried to teach mine how to crochet - many tears later and she has given up!
