Day 26

Little Vintage Smock Coat

Little Vintage Smock Coat - sleeve detail
 Project No: 35
Pattern:  Little Vintage Smock Coat from Sublime Book 642
Size:  1 - 2 years
Yarn:  Smoothie DK - pink, 2 balls (I think)
Needles:  3.5mm and 4mm

Another project off the needles.  The buttons are from my mum's button stash.  She found them on Sunday when we were helping her sort through her yarn stash.  She does happen to have a habit of keeping all her yarn in plastic bags, suffice to say we got rid of about 2 garbage bags full of plastic bags and sorted all her yarn into colors in plastic containers.  I think the 3 of us were all pooped after that, and Isabelle managed to lose 2 different knitting needles which havent been found as yet.  Fingers crossed they turn up in the bags of yarn mum gave to the op shop where she volunteers!  Anyway back to the pattern, very easy to knit up and I love the little details on the sleeves.  This knit is going to a friend's little girl Chelsea who is 1.  This should fit her for quite a while too.  Okay off to sew up some more FO's!
