Hi all, just a quick post to let you know that I am still here knitting away. I thought I had better take a photo of my latest FO, these gorgeous socks. The top photo shows the color much better than the bottom photo. These socks are the V Junkie socks by Alice Yu out of the Socktopus book. I have a few patterns that I am eager to knit up from this book. The yarn is from Wandering Cat yarns and the color is called Honeybee which I thought was perfect as the pattern reminds me of honeycomb. I used 2.5mm needles and had a tiny little ball left over. My notes are on my ravelry page if your interested.
Other News:
My SIL (who has the twin boys) had her third baby boy last Friday, being nearly 5 weeks early. He is still in intensive care for a bit to make sure his lungs are working properly but I cant wait to see photos of him. He was born 4 days after Isabelle's 11th birthday. She was sick on her birthday with tonsillitis so I was in a rush to get her better as she had camp at Sovereign Hill on the Thursday afterwards, and thankfully was well enough to go. She absolutely loved going there and dressing in costume and attending the rich school (which was made of wood and had a tent covering for the roof). My other SIL is due to have twins in December and she is having a boy and a girl! I am so excited as this will make me have 2 nieces (15 yrs apart) and 8 nephews then so lots of baby knits will be going on but more summery things I think.
Okay that is about it as I have to rush off to work and hopefully over the weekend I can get some more photos of FO's to show you.
Happy knitting!
