Christmas Postcard Swap
I just joined the Christmas Postcard swap over at Nichola's site. It sounds like a lot of fun, you just make a Christmas themed postcard, and send it off on December 1 to your recipient. I will have to sit down and think of an idea now, and wait to see who I am posting it off too. I cannot believe that Christmas is only 9 and a half weeks away. I had better get organised. I am off to Bacchus Marsh today to visit Gillian at the market, and also have a browse around town to pick up some little crafty things at the Patchwork Shop, like zippers for some of those bags in the book, and then I can get started. I also started the Tater Cardigan for my friend's daughter Bianca, whose birthday is in December. I have never knit a pattern from the top down, so it is quite interesting to see how it works out. I am nearly to the part where I start the sleeves on dpns so that will be fun, kind of like making socks, which I have some plans for very soon. Back later!

Hi Sue, I linked to you from Poshyarns. I love to knit, and paint. I'm a teacher so my time is somewhat limited but I love to knit socks. I have a circular sock knitting machine so I can actually start and finish a pair of socks quickly instead of having them languish on the needles! Sorry to hear about your little kitten.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your kitties. Please forgive me if it's none of my business, but is it possible for you to keep your cats indoors? We live on a super busy road, cars racing down to the train station twice a day, and I could never let my cats outside or they'd be gone in a minute. We play with them and give them exercise; the one cat we adopted as a stray doesn't seem to miss the outdoors. The other has never been out since we adopted him as a kitten. It has saved us also in terms of their not having fleas and disease...there are lots of good articles on the web to help you help the cats adjust to indoor life if it's something you'd like to try.
