2008 - FO No. 17

Pattern: Tea for Two sweater from Miss Bea's Rainy Day book by Louisa Harding
Size: 1 - 2 years
Yarn: Spotlight Hues of Opulence cotton, mauve
about 6 balls
Started: 22 March 2008 Finished 12 April 2008
This is the third one that I have made. I just love the way the cables pop in this cotton and it knits up so nicely too, although knitting the bands on 3.5mm needles was a little awkward at first as the cotton felt so thick. I will be popping this one into the knitting gift basket for a future gift.

What a dear little sweater! I love it and if I can find the pattern I will knit it for one or more of my grandkids!

Okay, wait. You have a knitting gift basket for future gifts? You are just too good. I know babies going on two that I still have to knit for.

Anyway, the sweater is beautiful! I love honeycomb cables.

if you're still having trouble looking for gloves have you tried the hardware store because on martha they said you can use and they do in the book plain white gardening gloves which are super cute

the color and cables are gorgeous. I amy have to find that for winter for my 8 month old!
The pants are adorable. I havea similiar pattern from Debbie bliss book but I have not started it yet.
I will keep my fingers crossed for the job thing, but as you said things have a way of working out! Prices are crazy here too. Food and gas go up daily!!!
