Today was the day to learn to crochet and meet some really wonderful ladies too. In the photo is Liz who had a beautiful scarf on, and she even had a knitting needle bracelet and brooch. They were so nice, and standing next to Liz is my new wonderful crochet teacher, Cathy who bought along presents for everyone and lots of crochet books and projects she had made. She is wearing her lovely neckwarmer and jacket which she made herself too, just beautiful. Seeing how well she crochets and so quickly inspires me to keep going with this new to me craft too. I did manage with Cathy's help to actually learn to increase and decrease, and the actual concept of shaping. I have half a head of a little toy done so we will see how much I remember shall we during the next week when I hope to get some more practice in. Sharon is another inspiring crocheter and her lion is just adorable. She also made a bag out of rags which looked fantastic. Instead of throwing out old linen, just cut it into strips and crochet away. What a marvellous idea Sharon.
Isabelle had a wonderful time playing with Liz's daugther, and a little girl from her school too. She didnt want to go home at all, and I kept having to go back to the slides to collect her so we could go home. I do hope that we can all get together again soon and it was really love to meet you all too.

What wonderful things you have to say about each person.
I'll be back for another visit with some great links for you, re the amigurumi.
Mmm, don't know if I like my picture, I hardly ever take a good photo, but you must leave it up for a reminder of our get together.
Was it not enjoyable? I could have stayed all night and day and still have more to talk about. LOL.
Cheers Cat.
Links for you.
