2009 - FO No 11

I have finished yet another FO which I started in January 09. This is the Little Pixie Coat from the Sublime book 606. I knit this one in a size 1-2 years and added some little apple buttons from my stash. The hood did take a long time to knit up but the second one went much faster once I sat down and concentrated. The yarn I used for this one is the Heirloom Whisper. I like this yarn and I think I used about 5 or 6 balls. I might gift this one for my god-daughter for Christmas but I may change my mind by then. I am sure that the hood would have looked better had I a model to pop it onto.
Now the other knitting I have started for Isabelle is going great but I may have to make it a bit longer as it wont last long otherwise. I totally forgot about it and then after knitting the first front I realised so I may have to rip it back. Perhaps I will measure her tonight and see how it will fit her in the length. Okay that is it for now, happy crafting!!

Oh I LOVE your hoodie. My kids love wearing hoodies and since knitting for them is so quick I knit those the most. Great pattern!

That is a lovely jacket, I really wish I could pop round and visit you. I have the perfect model.
Not just for a photo, but to help you with the house.
I have gone through something similar in 1999. We had to sell our house, put everything in storage and move in with the in-laws.
I rediscovered knitting and it helped me staying sane.
I am sure knitting will help you a little as well.

What a fabulous sweater -- the color suits it perfectly, and the buttons are just perfect. We are hankering for green and spring around here, and that fits the bill perfectly!
