Here is my cute little god-daughter, Miss C, modelling the hat that I knit for her last night. It is from the baby cashmerino 2 book. I love knitting these hats, although you cant see the little top part. I didnt do any stripes this time, instead choosing to knit this out of some Spotlight yarn I found the other day called Moda Vera Tranquil. I also bought some dark purple too which is gorgeous. I knit this yarn on 3.5mm instead of 4mm as it gives a firmer look which I liked more. This yarn is 100% acrylic so perfect for Miss C's mum who likes to occassionally put handknits in the washing machine by accident! This is the largest size (which also seems to fit Isabelle). Miss C liked wearing it too which is great since she usually hates hats, but kept pulling this one off and then putting it back on, even stopping for a taste test too. Much approved hat I would say. Now I am off to finish Isabelle the same hat without the rolled edge or the little top part.
