Washcloth Swap

My swap parcel arrived today, how exciting! My pal was Janice who has a lovely blog. Thank you for the soap, it reminds Paul and I of our grandmothers and I know it isnt lavender but it smells so nice and brings back lots of lovely memories of them. The washcloth is a much more aqua color than the photo shows, a beautiful bright teal color which is one of my favourites. The cherry ripe has already been devoured as it didnt last long. A choccie fix on a cold winter's day is just what a mum needs to boost her afternoon when the kids arrive home (although my waist line will be complaining), so an awful BIG THANK YOU Janice!
Knitting is going well. I have nearly completed one outfit for Sharon, just the front of the dress to do and onto the next one. I have nearly finished my swap parcel too, just finishing off one more thing and then I will pop down to the post office tomorrow after school duties and send it off. I do hope she will like what I have made for her.
Oh and I didnt mozz myself on Monday, the wipers just needed a new fuse. I did have an excellent feeling for the day though as I finally got in contact with a sister of a school friend I was trying to contact for a number of years. I am just waiting on a contact number or email now to see when we can get together. I havent seen her for about 20 years so it will be nice to catch up. I am very happy that her sister is on facebook so it could happen otherwise I might never have found out where she is living and wouldnt have been able to catch up.
Tomorrow I should have a photo of Isabelle in a top down sleevless cardigan I finished last week for her. I havent found the time to take a picture when it is convenient so I am hoping tomorrow morning I can coerce her into before we head off to school. Okay I am now going to do the dishes. We had a lovely egg and bacon pie for dinner, and banana pastries which Isabelle helped make. Nothing fancy, just a puff pastry sheet cut into 4 squares, slice banana and pop on top with some brown sugar, fold into a little parcel and pop a little air hole and bake until golden brown. We had custard with ours and they were so yummy. Lachlan even made an apple pie which is baking in the oven and will be for dessert tomorrow night!!

What a lovely surprise. The cloth looks almost to beautiful to use.
Your banana pastries sound delicious. I must try them myself. Sounds like something my daughters would love to eat.
