Also look at what the postman dropped off yesterday afternoon in our mailbox. I have been having a little read of the wonderful recipes in this cookbook and I think the first ones I will try is the Lemonade Scones. They sound so simple and I love scones with a bit of butter, or jam and cream. All the funds raised from these books are being donated to the Salvation Army which is just fantastic. Okay I am off to take Isabelle to dance class and pick up her new (secondhand) dance shoes and watch her do her dance moves!

Like a true Seattle girl, I love the rain!
You lucky thing, what glorious looking rain, I bet your lovely garden is enjoying it... :)
That little cookbook looks lovely... My Nanna taught me a lemonade scone recipe that I use at least twice a week... It's super quick and easy for when those unexpected visitors drop by, it's 2 cups SR Flour, 1/2 cup lemonade, 1/2 cup cream, mix all ingredients together with a knife, turn onto lightly floured surface and knead very lightly, bake in hot oven for 15 mins... DELICIOUS!!!! Is your recipe similar???
Jodie :)
Belated birthday wishes to Isabelle and she looks lovely and quite grown up now in her new cardi. Glad her party went well for her...and for you!
Cheers Gillian
I love the sound of rain on the roof. I find it very calming.
I wish it would rain down here - it's just been horribly hot so far!

Your yard looks so pretty. Why is it I always think the other side of the world should look so different:) It looks a lot like my neighborhood:)
