is Smockie. It is knitting up rather nicely in the dazzle yarn (yes I know acrylic) but it is perfect for those mums who dont want to wash knits by hand. I am nearly up to the armholes where the garter stitch starts so it shouldnt take too long. The purple one still has one sleeve to go and the flowers so hopefully I can concentrate on these 2 for a bit and get them done.

OH, smockie - can be worn later when kid grows up as a vest, right?
Cute!
That looks like such a lovely pattern. I love how even your stitches are. It is going to be gorgeous.
love the colours!! and i agree about acrylic has time and place! some mums dont have time or care to look after pure wool stuff. so acrylic for them is good enough (there is some great acrylic around now adays anyway!)
That yarn is so pretty! I love the colors and how they're coming out in the knitted fabric.
so cute! for some mums you've got to use acrylic!!!!! I've seen jumpers I've done in wool totally trashed when I see the little on in it because the mum doesn't hand or gentle wash it! such a waste!
now if I only I lived near you Sue and I'd teach you crochet! you work each colour around and join it back at the start of that round and then start a new colour, do an entire round in that colour and so on! bendigo makes it so affordable to do lots of blankets and I'm going to sell them at a kids market I'm doing in december!!!
thanks sue and yay for making it so well through blogtoberfest!
Corrie:)
cute - acrylic is really the best for kids garments. I like the colors in it.
