Day 24 ....

just knitting up some Anchor Magicline cotton for a summer top for Isabelle. Mum popped into Spotlight and grabbed some and they were $10 a bag which had 10 balls. I definately wont use all of these but it is knitting up nicely so far and hopefully I can show you some progress. Oh and in response to Gillian's comments - Lachie doesnt like his photo on the blog anymore as he is worried someone might recognise (dont know who that would be though) so I have obliged and kept him out of it. He is growing up to be quite a young man now as he will be turning 16 in January. I do knit things for him but he never wants to wear them as he says they are itchy. I could knit him something out of cotton and he would say the same thing, maybe it is just a teenager thing. I could understand it when he was younger because the yarns I knit with then probably were some nasty itchy acrylic. Anyway maybe one day he will change his mind ..... although putting his ironing away the other day I noticed the knitted hat I had made him, he has only worn it twice and IT HAD A BIG HOLE IN IT! He said he doesnt know how it got there, and there werent any moths I could blame either. Oh well! See you all tomorrow....

You have to love yarn priced at $1! I'm sure it will make a great little top, too. :o)

That's so sweet that Lachie is scared of being recognised. My Mother in law says I have to respect the privacy of my children and she has asked me not to put photos of them on my blog.

That's funny about Lachie and the embarrassment. Textbook 16 yo behaviour.

I used to LAY DOWN in the back of the car when I went anywhere with mum and dad, in case anyone saw me! How awful is that?!!

I hope mine don't do that to me, but there's no way of knowing until the time comes is there?

I bought a bag of the cotton too. They were too cheap to resist & now I will have to find a project to do.
