Day 9 ........
Okay here we go with me showing you the first of some UFO's that I havent really shown you all. First up is the Little Petal Cardie which I am knitting from the Sublime 617 Fourth Little Hand Knit book. It has some really beautiful and classic patterns in it. I have shown you the peach colored pattern here but I am actually doing the long sleeved version. The photo for that is in white and it didnt show up very well. I have already completed the main body piece, now just the sleeves and then all the little tube like rows to make those flowers along the border. It should be fun trying to work out how to sew them up to fit just right. This little cardigan will hopefully be finished up soon as I started it months ago (earlier this year to be honest) and then put it away. I saw it the other day whilst looking for something else and decided to finish it up for a little girl who turns 1 in December. I am sure it wont fit her until next year but her mum will love it. I am using BWM Allegra (think that is the name) which is just beautiful and variegated slightly. This is the purple color which doesnt show its true color here. You will have to trust me that it is gorgeous and very nice to knit with too on 3.75 mm needles. I also have some of the red, blue and pink colors too . They remind me of a tweedy look with different flecks through them which is nice. Okay off to find something else that will need finishing .........

It will look lovely in purple Sue. Good on you for finishing it, I'm sure her Mum will adore it. I saw your cloths on Abby's blog and they look amazing as always. Hope you have a great weekend.
What a cute little sweater! I've been making a sweater for-ever in a similar, purplish blue color. I'm hoping this will be the year that it gets done [insert sheepish grin}. Lucky, lucky little recipient of your pretty little sweater!
That is going to look wonderful in purple.
I must have a closer look at that sublime book next time I visit my LYS.
It will be just adorable! I have long ohhhhhed and aweeeeed over the Sublime patterns.
What an adorable little knit!
It's a cute pattern - hope it turns out well.
