Here is the little tunic styled top I knit up for our friends who had a little girl a week early at the start of January!
Pattern: Design C Tunic
Book: Sirdar Seaside Babies 352
Started: January, finished last night
Yarn: Heirloom Whisper (acrylic)
Size: 1 to 2 years
I only used about 2.5 balls for this little top I think. It really does look more like a 6-12 month size though as I used this yarn to destash instead of using some Sirdar yarn. I dont know what happened to my pattern but those eyelets around the top row are supposed to be spread around the neckline. I must have read it wrong but I like it the way it turned out, it still looks cute. Now to give it a little steaming and pop it in a bag ready to gift! Oh and thank you ladies who helped out with the yarn swift. I ordered a wooden one today with the advice from Miss Fee - thank you so much. It is nice to know you can get so much help from your crafty friends isnt it. They re-open on the 28th of January so I dont really mind waiting a bit!

ADORABLE!! I was picking out some yarn for the same top just the other day for Maddy and was tossing up whether to do this one or the ruffled bolero - too sweet!
Well done - bet it was happily received!!
The dress is gorgeous & I am sure the baby will look so cute in it. You have done a beautiful job.
This is lovely! I think the eyelets on the bodice are really cute and remind me of smocked dresses I had when I was little.
