500th Post!

I cant believe that this is my 500th post!  How wonderful is that (although it proves Paul right that I talk too much).  I have really enjoyed blogging this year.  I am really loving my new page too with the little houses so I have to thank Corrie for that since she advised me where to go and they were super helpful.  I have made many online friends through this blog and I really do love hearing from each and every one of you and I do try and respond to every comment that I get.  So on my next post I am going to have a little giveaway to celebrate!  I havent decided as yet on the gifts but I will promise you there will be photos in the next post so you need to come and see me in the next week for more details!
Okay so up above is some more Knitabulous sock yarn that I purchased the other night.  Alisa was having a little update in her shop and I popped right over to have a look and these 3 made their way into my shopping cart.  They arrived on my doorstep this morning and they were just so beautiful I had to show you all.  Dont they remind you of autumn leaves.  The colors are St. Clements, Harvest and Vetiver.  She also included a cute little knitabulous notepad which Isabelle spied but I have it hidden away out of her reach, lol!  I have plans for all 3 of these yarns for this year and I cant wait.  I did decide last week that not all of my sock yarn will become socks.  I am planning to knit some baby gifts from some of them and another shawl or 2 as well. So I am off to find some nice things to giveaway ..... have a lovely weekend!

New blog looks GREAT! What a great way to refresh for a new year of blogging.

I liked those colours together when I packed them up, I was admiring your choices - am delighted to see them arrive so fast!

Did you know that I don't knit socks hardly at all? Sock yarn is so good for other things; shawls, baby things, cardigans (like the featherweight cardigan, which I can't speak highly enough of at present).

looking forward to seeing what your autumn colours become, stripes maybe?

Can't wait to hear more about your giveaway ;) Have a great Friday, it's wet and cold here today, a perfect cozy day for knitting (another Ishbel I just cast on for) but I have to take the dog to the vet first for his yearly shots!

Thanks so much for your kind comments on my blog Sue! I sent you an email last night regarding the jug cover and I haven't heard from you and am a bit nervous I sent it to another Sue by accident. Anyway, I really want to finish your jug cover and send it to you finally. When you said palm size did you mean that the top of the jug was that big and then needs dangly bits to hang down or did you mean that size for the whole thing? Please let me know asap as I am dying to geti t in the post to you. Much love Kate XX

So much easier to online shop. I never feel like I'm spending money.

Thank you for the lovely comments on my blog. Your comments come through without a reply e-mail though and I can't find you in my address book. I used to have it though. Let me know so I can reply to you :)

Well done on the 500 posts too. Quite an effort.
