More Sewing!

Here are some more sewing projects that I made in the last day or so (apart from the annoying art smock).  First up are some juggle balls which I made for Isabelle.  She has got some juggling happening with 2 of them, a bit of practice needed for juggling 3 I think.  They are small enough that she can hold them quite easily so they would be great for younger kids too.
Next up, the water bottle holder.  I just used up some stash fabric for this one and it took no time at all, probably about 20 minutes all up.  I sewed some ric rac onto twill tape and attached that as the strap.  It is the perfect size for my drink bottle too which is great.  Both of these patterns are from the Sewing Calender 2010 that I mentioned earlier on.  I got my copy from Dirt Cheap Books for $5.00 and I know they sell for more through online bookstores.  I also got a knitting one as well for the same price so they are a bargain.
Last night I wound up my sock yarn and started knitting the puddle socks pattern which is very addictive.  I have nearly half a sock already!  Okay off to knit some more and hope to have a new sock finished by Friday.

Those little juggle balls are so cute! Isabelle is the perfect age to juggle -- my youngest son learned when he was about her age. I think it's a lot easier if they're younger!

Oh Sue! What beautiful sewing you have been doing. The pincushions are stunning and as usual you colour sense has the "Wow" factor.
Cheers Gillian
