Pincushion Is Ready!

Last night I sat down and got organised for my pincushion swap which the lovely Kate has organised.  Seeing as though the kids have just started school holidays I thought it best to get it ready before all the rushing around of activities for them both.  My swap partner is receiving the gray one which was the first one that I made.  After seeing how cute it turned out I couldnt help myself and went searching for some more fabrics to make some for my sister and my mum!  The pattern for the pear pincushion is from the Sewing Calendar 2010 and has some really lovely patterns in it.  I am posting off my swap partner's parcel tomorrow so I hope they like it.  Okay off to do some more sewing whilst the mojo is working!

Gorgeous!! Where do I find this sewing calendar?

Oh so cute.

I am away from all sewing crafts at the moment; the pain in my sinuses caused my a malicious cold means I can't think straight and somethings would be downright dangerous - like rotary cutters! Of course, lack of experience doesn't help! LOL

What a super cute pincushion! They'll all love it :)

PS I know you as "snooks" and until I was on your blog today I hadn't realized you actually call it "knitter Sue." Now I see how close the two names are!!!

Oh, goodness. I have my head in the sand over this one. Gulp. Too scared to even check the deadline. (I will after doing some breathing exercises involving a paper bag). Lovely pair of pair of pears! If you get my drift.

I have been checking out all the pin cushions in Kate's swap and I had to stop and comment when I saw yours. Great minds think alike! I made a pear pincushion for my partner too! I didn't have a pattern though, so just winged it. Your look lovely. :)
