2010 - FO No 25

Sports Vee

Pattern: Sports Vee from The Third Little Sublime Hand Knit Book #612
Yarn:  Snuggly DK, light blue (a heathery sort of color) about 2 balls
Size:  6 - 12 months   Needle Size:  3.5 and 4mm

I finally got organised yesterday and sewed up this little sweater.  I quite like it and I am going to see if the brown one I started last year is the same size so I can finish that one up too and send them off to my SIL.  Not long now for those little nephews to arrive!  I really need to get a move along on the baby gifts though as one baby is due at the end of September and she doesnt know what she is having.  My SIL has until the start of October and I have my cousin's daughter who is due with her third baby around the end of October.  I am secretly hoping that she has a little girl this time around!

We got our car back yesterday too and what a difference (apart from the bill) a good service and a fix up will do.  No more breaking down for us thank goodness.  Some sensor wasnt working properly so it is all fixed now.  I will be able to take Isabelle to dancing on Friday night without worrying.

I also got news of a knitting group starting in Melton on the last Thursday of the month from 7 - 9 so I am really looking forward to it.  The venue is great too, they serve really delicious food.  It will be so nice to meet some new people and I will try and remember my camera to take some pics.  Okay that is about all for now, tomorrow another FO once I sew the buttons on!

Very cool pattern, interesting without being girly, although I a sure in pink or green or cream etc it would be perfect too!!

That's a lot of new babies to knit for. Your new little sweater is adorable too -- great job, as always!

This is lovely, both the checkerboard design and the heathery blue. It's so nice to have babies to knit for :)
