2010 - FO 40

Double Diamonds Tea Cozy

Friday Night's Sky After Storm
I finally finished sewing up mum's tea cozy today!  I really loved the pattern but decided on this side as it looked nicer.  I hope mum likes it too.  It didnt take too long to knit up, perhaps 3 days.
Pattern:  Double Diamonds from Tea Cozies 2
Yarn:  Jo Sharp DK, about 1.5 balls
Needles:  4mm

We have also been experiencing some much  needed rain lately.  The creeks are flowing or more like gushing at the moment and I am sure the ducks are the ones loving it.  I cant believe how much water we have received.  I think the drought is over.  We had a nasty storm on Friday and afterwards the sky looked so pretty that I just had to take a pic.  Pity the rainbow disappeared when I went in to grab the camera.

Next time I cook the little dutch pancakes I will remember to grab the camera for those who asked!

That is such a lovely pattern! It looks like it is hugging the pot very nicely.

The tea cozy looks great. It's good that it's raining as we had a dry winter & a really hot spring. I can't imagine what summer will be like.
