Me!
Well since I never ever show myself on my blog I thought perhaps I should. Lachie and I went and got haircuts yesterday, much needed since our hair grows so fast. I came home after the storm yesterday afternoon and dyed it myself so now I feel sort of back to normal. Isabelle wasnt too happy with me though as she keeps saying she has never seen me with longer hair and wants me to grow it back. No way am I growing it longer, too annoying on my face nowadays. Sorry for the sweaty look but Isabelle and I had just finished putting up the christmas tree and tidying the house so I was sort of hot. All this rain and it is still humid, yuck! I finally convinced Paul to let me buy a new xmas tree and I found a white tree at Target for $47.00 so hopefully it will last for a very long time as the last one is about 11 years old. I might give it to my sister if she wants it, otherwise someone else can have it for free! It is a green tree and still okay but I wanted a change to our house for xmas this year.
Up above is Acacia, another wonderful pattern from Tikki. I am knitting it up in Allegro, color Electric which I am not quite sure if they still have. I bought this to knit myself a Cassidy a few years ago now but never ended up doing much so pulled it out for Isabelle. I had to laugh at my knitting group this morning as they said every week I turn up with something different. Another lady, Dianne, does the same finishing up projects all the time too so I guess it makes me feel more normal. They all loved the pattern too so the next step will be getting them to have a look at ravelry one day!
Okay off to do the vegies for dinner along with our corned beef with white sauce, and then xmas tree decorations when Paul gets them out of the roof for us!

Nice to see you!!
It's nice to see your face finally. But I understand. I don't usually show my face either. I like keeping my hair short also. Much easier to maintain.
Yum, my favourite dinner! Curlypop's too, we chat about that meal all the time (she has mash, I have cauli). Haircut looks nice and easy for the heat ahead! And doesn't a colour lift your spirits?
What a lovely photo - now I know what you look like :)
How lovely to have a white tree - I was planning to buy one this year but got sidetracked. Perhaps next year. I'm sick of green. I did like the red trees though in Target.
xx
You look completely different from how I had you in my head! Odd isn't it, how you form a picture of people, and very often they're not like that in real life at all.
I can send you some snow for Christmas if you like...? ;-) Plenty to go around over here!
Well, hello there Sue! How fun to see you. Your knitting certainly is pretty -- as always!
Hi Sue *waves*
Nice haircut. I like to keep my hair short too as it's easier to maintain.
