My new knitting spot!

This is my new knitting spot for the moment. I have been listening to some other podcasts which are on the computer so I sit on the couch next to it and knit away. Sorello is still being knit on which you can see on the top of that pile of wool. The little tea cozy is in the finishing pile along with a baby cardigan that needs sewing up. I also have another baby jacket to add buttons too but it hasnt been shown here as it is in the other room. Clue 4 for Sorello and Fratello is now up so I will be knitting some more on those. I am thinking of ripping out Fratello purely because I think it would look nicer in another color and I could use the green for another project. I am still thinking about that one for the moment.
Tomorrow is knitting group and I do hope some more new faces show up. Knitting night only had 3 people there which was better than nothing I guess but I am sure people didnt want to turn up in that weather anyway. The daytime group seems much more popular and there seems to be someone different there every week. I also pulled out the dress I am knitting and have started on the front which should hopefully be finished before xmas.
Isabelle and I tried out our new dutch pancake machine today which we bought last night at Safeway for $20 and it was well worth it too. They were so delicious. The first batch didnt turn out so great as I filled the little holes right to the top but the second and third batch were better as the heat evened out and I only filled the holes 3/4 full. Perfect for breakfast or dessert. We had ours with butter, lemon juice and icing sugar. Another plus, you just wipe the hotplate clean once it cools and being non-stick it is perfect! I found a great recipe on the internet which didnt use yeast and I had all the ingredients already in the cupboard! Okay off to cook dinner and do some more knitting I think.
Blogger has been so annoying today that I had to revert back to the old way of adding photos just so I could upload this one for my post. I liked the new way much better but it kept showing up server rejected so hopefully now it is all fixed!

And I thought your KAL things were looking so nice too, but if the green isn't working then you must unravel.
That pancake machine sounds fascinating. Might there be a photo another day????

I had the same problem with blogger yesterday. I thought I must be running out of free space for my photos. The pancakes sound yummy

Hello Sue, haven't been in touch for a while but now you know why I've been a bit busy.
I love the knitting corner!
Pancake maker sounds great but I must resist the temptation to get one till I have done stuff with the blender I bought a couple of days ago.
Cheers Gillian
