2011 - Item 10

Sporty Car Coat 2
Pattern:  Sporty Car Coat from Sublime
Yarn:     Carnival Yarn from Big W (given to me by my mum years ago now) using just 1.5 balls
Started:  January
Finished: February 27 - although I still need to find the perfect buttons

I am thinking of giving this to baby Alex (no I still havent wrapped up his present yet and he is over a month old now).  Must get onto that over the weekend.

February has come and now is almost over.  Thank goodness because Paul and I have been having a terrible month, mainly due to his working lots and then not being paid when he should be so we have been living very frugually which is just terrible as we have our bills piling upwards!  Even though I have now returned to work I am not earning enough money to cover all the expenses in our household so to say there is stress around this house is an understatement at the moment.  I think sometimes even the knitting doesnt help times like this.

Also my sister was in hospital today having an operation that was planned for about 6 months ago.  Thankfully she come through it okay, although very groggy.  She will need lots of TLC for the next 3 weeks at home so I think I shall be popping over in between work and school to see if she is okay.

Now lets hope that March is a whole lot better than February was, and yes I know people have it a lot worse in some parts of the world, but sometimes we need to vent to get the stress off our shoulders, even if only for a few minutes.  Okay off to knit some more of my next project which is for me ..... suprised you all with that one didnt I!  I will give a peek later on when I have some more knit up.

Yay! Knitting for YOU! The little sweater is adorable. Can't fathom where February has gone, but it's probably just as well. Onto March and greater things, right?
