2011 - Item 7

Pattern:  Milo by Georgie Hallam
Yarn:  Homemaker yarn from Kmart, not even 1 ball
Size:  12 months
Started:  28 January, Finished 12th February
Needle Size:  4mm circular

I have to say that this variegated yarn is very addictive seeing it knit up in different stripes.  It is harder to see the lighter green but it does run in wonky stripes again like the orange/yellow one.  I cast this one off last night whilst in bed and was happy that another project is off the needles.  I also finished another project but my model isnt co-operating today so it will need to wait until tomorrow afternoon!  Pity as the weather has been absolutely gorgeous today, wish everyday was as nice as this one has been.

Thank you all too for your wonderful comments about my grandfather's carving.  It currently resides at my aunt's house but hopefully one day it will be put somewhere for everyone to admire it!  See you all tomorrow!!

Not a whole ball! damn good yarn!

Not fan of self stripping yarn ... but at least it almost always looks good on kid's clothes!

That is such a cute little top. I love watching self-striping yarn being knit up too - the knitting goes much faster!
