Pattern: Leafy Shrug by Stitchymama (Katherine Oxlade Knack)
Yarn: Panda Magnum Soft, 1 ball (black)
Needles: 5mm and 4.5mm for the edging
Finally Isabelle put this on so I could photograph it, but judging by the top photo I should have waited until it was cooler so she wasnt so annoyed. I loved how this turned out and it was so quick and easy to knit. Perfect for the cooler nights of summer. The only change I made was to cast on 44 sts for each sleeve and knit 8 rows in K2, P2 instead of garter stitch. Then I picked up sts for the bands and just knit the same for 8 rows and cast off. I think it looks great and I have been told not to knit one for her cousin because she wants something nice just for herself. I guess I should take that as a compliment!

My girls would too.
I hope you are having a great week.
Very CUTE! That top picture is pretty funny too!
It looks great. I can see why she wants it to herself!
Yes you should! Isabelle reminds me so much of Hedera - I am totally forbidden to make something Hedera likes (but hers, ofcourse).
And your daughter is growing, my friend! I can remember her from you blog's beginnings!
And, not to forget - shrug is great!!!!!!!!
so gorgeous!! well done!
Haha, cute pic- our supermodels don't know how lucky they are, we are very kind on them! Great shrug, i've never worn one, but might have to get one. And yes, that is a nice compliment!
Looks lovely! I have 2 leafy shrugs for my girls, they are just perfect for this time of year.

But she wouldn't mind if you knit one for me...right? ;)
You should definately take it as a compliment!
It's such a lovely pattern, and looks nice on both little ones and older ones too.
