Things Are Looking Up!

Bella and Max sleeping on the front seat
Hello I am back.  I thought I had better pop in and let you know what I have been up to in the last week or so.  I am happy to say that we sold our house in 3 weeks.  We had one person look at it and then he came back and decided to buy it.  We had to lower the price a bit which we werent too happy about but at least we get to leave here nearly debt free and ready to start over.  I have been busy looking at rentals which is a bit hard because you have to try to think of where your going to put things and if it will all fit.  I didnt actually realise after living here for nearly 12 years just how big our house really is.  It seems our house is in the larger scale of the market.  I am happy though because then we can start having a normal life again and get to go out and do things with the kids and be STRESS free which is what this is mainly all about.  I have been busy packing boxes so they are spread out everywhere.  Hopefully all will go smoothly with the sale and settlement will be on the 14th of December.  We are hoping to move out on the 26th of November if everything goes well.  Paul will just get back from Charlton on the 25th and then we will get a skip to get rid of things and I will be making a few trips to the op shops and we should hopefully be set.

I also got my car fixed and it is running like new again.  The oil had gone through the whole engine, the cooling system had gone and the radiator needed replacing too.  The good thing is that we now have a mechanic who will come to our house and fix it for us when we give him a call and he has done an excellent job.  He is coming back on Friday to do the air-conditioning which I will be very thankful for on the hot days.

Knitting has been still going on although not as much.  I have packed all my knitting books away apart from the ones I am using.  I am halfway through a sweater for my brand new nephew FELIX who was born last Thursday.  He was 9'2" which was exactly the same weight as Isabelle was when she was born.  He has lots of hair and I cant wait to meet him.  I havent exactly had time at the moment as I have been rushing around.  Hopefully very soon I can get lots of cuddles.  I think I may have to knit him a baby hat as I forgot all about it whilst knitting him sweaters.  Hopefully I can pop back before the internet gets switched off and I can show a few more projects I have finished and new ones on the needles.  I think that is all news wise that I have to share but I have to say I am very excited about everything right now even it is a bit rushed.  Fingers crossed that the next few weeks go smoothly.

See you all later!

Oh I am so happy for you, and you sound very relaxed and stress free. Bella, Max and Jake look relaxed too!!! Congratulations on the birth in the family, I am sure there will be lots of cuddles to come, and lots of lovely hand knits. It is always a relief to have a reliable car too.
Good luck with finding a new place and the move.
