I have finally finished another project, which incidentally I just cast on on the 14th of March. Yes I know I said I should not be casting on anymore projects but after going to Spotlight and finding a beautiful yarn that changed colors I thought I should. I just love all the beautiful colors in this scarf/wrap. I am going to gift it to my sister so I do hope she will like it.
Pattern: Spectra by Stephen West
Yarns: Panda Magnum Soft 8 ply (color - black) 2.5 balls
Bouvardia from Spotlight, Dye Lot 2, Color 104-15
Started: 14th March and finished 22nd March 2012
This is such an easy pattern and very addictive. I didnt quite knit up the 86 wedges as I ran out of the Bouvardia yarn but I think I managed to knit up about 78 wedges out of 1 ball. I really do adore those colors, just so pretty like a bright rainbow!
Next up are some more baby knits as my hairdresser and personal friend just had 2 grandbabies born in January and March so I get to knit a little girl and a little boy knit. I have so many patterns that I just cannot decide but I am sure I will by the end of the week!
Oh and next Thursday my knitting group are travelling up to Bendigo Woollen Mills for a nice day out and to buy some yarn. I am hoping the back room has nice wool that I can bring home, although Paul did mention the fact that they could come to our garage and shop from my stash, the cheeky bugger!
See you all soon.

Have fun at Bendigo, I am wanting to go and have a look up there too. One day maybe. By the way, my hubby is very cheeky about my stash too, recently telling me he would not make me more shelves and I was to get rid of stuff; the horror of it!!!
The scarf/wrap is very pretty. How nice to be close enough to go to Bendigo for the day.
This is lovely--great colors.
