Hi all, I am still here knitting away just not blogging about it as you can see up above. That pile there is my pile that I need to finish seaming and adding buttons and whatever too. After looking at that pile and realising that maybe, lately I just love to knit and not finish things is a bit worrying. You see I have some more nephews/hopefully nieces arriving between September/December so I need to get a move on. My SIL with the twin boys (who turn 2 in October) will be getting another little brother in September, due the day after my birthday. My other SIL who had my little nephew last November is now expecting twins (dont know what gender as yet) in December so I will have 6 little people under the age of 2 to knit for so I have made a start on that one already. Up above, and the picture is sideways for some reason) is my cardigan which just needs the ends woven in and buttons attached. Next up is the stripey blue no. which is a Teddy Hoodie for my nephew. On top of that is the green cabled nephew sweater, a little lime green cardigan for a little girl I know and another yellow eyelets cardigan and hat. There is also a little brown nephew sweater in there somewhere, a teddy bear hat, a kitty hat, a stripey hat, a bumblebee hat and a bumblebee sweater. Phew .... tired after reading that list. I have also finished the back and front of a hoodie for 1 of my nephews and am starting the second one. I am also dying to cast on a pair of socks or complete some I have on my needles. I also need to finish up my niece's sparkly cardigan soon too so I have been very busy, just slack posting here.
But I did manage to get some sewing in. I had purchased some fat quarters from Spotlight a while ago and when Denise from The Knitting Den videocast mentioned this pattern to purchase I hopped right on over and downloaded it. The pattern is from Jeni and very well explained. This bag is HUGE and can fit my whole porcupine blanket in it, which is sadly still unfinished but will hopefully be soon. I have 4 more bags to make but am going to make them smaller so I will show you them when I finish them up. So I think that is about it apart from a bit of work that I have been doing, and Isabelle being on school holidays. We have visited cousins, been clothes shopping (for her), had some more mechanical work done on my car and Paul has been away for a bit of work so it is all good. Hopefully by next week I can have some finished objects to show here and to add photos to my ravely page, which is looking very bare at the moment.
Happy crafting everyone!

I hear ya! Once the knitting is cast off, sometimes it is as finished as it will ever be. My girls are always running around in beanies and jumpers trailing ends behind them.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend Sue. x
Nice bag - could we have a link to the pattern please?
Enjoy knitting all those little things!
That is a whole lot of knitting!! You must really be enjoying the process. You will have your hands full with all those small children and babies to knit for!! Great bag, what pattern is it?? I am glad you and Isabelle are enjoying the school holidays. Have a great weekend and good luck with the finishing off and sewing up!!!
You've just been tagged by me on the Liebster Blog Award! Hop on to my blog to know more! :)
Wow! Your productivity puts me to shame!! I'm very impressed with your huge pile of knitting- and I completely agree about the finishing off, I wish I had an elf that would do it when I've gone to bed...You have a very lucky family receiving all of those goodies!
Lovely bag. I don't think you are the only one with this problem. I love knitting but finishing is something that I don't enjoy too. So to avoid any sewing up, I only work on projects that are seamless.
I'm always so amazed an impressed at the volume of your knitting -- you rock! And that sock monkey fabric is so cute -- perfect for that bag!
What super cute fabric!
