Meet Dusty!

Hello there, sorry I havent been posting but we have been busy lately.  Since losing Tess I just couldnt handle not having a doggie companion and thought I would look on the internet to see when kelpie puppies might be born and low and behold we found a litter that was the perfect age.  This is dusty, a pure kelpie who comes from 2 working dogs up in Wallinduc from a big sheep farm.  He was one of a litter of seven and it was very hard choosing one but he was cheeky so we picked him.  Most of the day is spent playing, picking up poop and cleaning up wee but we do adore him already.  He loves our kitten Missy but she is so fluffy that he keeps trying to wrestle her and bite off her furry tail.  I think he just wants a playmate his own size.  I am hoping in time that he will get used to sleeping by himself as he is only 6 weeks old and doesnt like being by himself.  I have to phone the vet tomorrow so he can have his needles so I am hoping he will be okay, feeling like when I had to take my kids for their first immunisations.

Knitting is slowly being done and as of today I havent managed any knitting.  I have quite a bit of seaming to do on some projects but havent been able to sit down and do it as yet.  I might have to take it along to knitting group so I can get it done without a little puppy trying to help me.  I hope you all have a fantastic week!

Oh Sue! I feel for you, but your new baby is adorable and has found a place in your hearts already. I was looking for a kitten to replace my Tinkie and have found one but can't have her till the end of October. Just knowing helps though.
Give Dusty a kiss for me.
Cheers Gillian
