Dangerous Dinosaur

This is what I have been working on for the last 2 days. I cast on about 7:00pm Tuesday night and this is how far I have gotten on it. It is the Dangerous Dinosaur jumper from Handknits For Kids by Lucinda Guy. I really hate doing intarsia so I hope that the bumps will smooth out after I have finished it. There is supposed to be a dinosaur on the back too, but I am just doing it on the front. I know its cheating but I dont want to do it all over again, so one on the front will be fine. This is for my nephew who will be 3 years old in October so it should not take too long to finish up now. Maybe by the end of next week I hope. The kids are on school holidays as of tomorrow afternoon, so I may get some extra time in if they keep each other occupied. I have also been knitting another small item, but until I sew it up there wont be any photos. I hope it turns out okay, but if it doesnt it will go into the charity bin! Well I better get back to finishing the front and then it will be time to cook up some dinner.

That is so cute! I think a dinosaur on the back would be too too much. You knit so fast!

Love the dinosaur:) I'm just glad it's you doing it and not me, I would get all tangled up and make a mess of it.

Oh, how cute is that?! And I can't believe how fast you've been knitting it up! I'm way impressed by your intarsia work, I'm totally hopeless when it comes to working with more colors/balls of yarn, unfortunately! Lovely color combination too!
