Pattern: Sports Vee from Sublime
Yarn: Snuggly DK in royal blue, about 2 balls
Needles: 3.5mm and 4mm
Started: I think I started this one in September and finished 17 October 2010
This is the second little sweater that is going to be sent off to my nephews very soon. I have plans to knit up a few more things so I can post it all together to my SIL. I decided not to do the same colors and I quite like the combination of the two blues together. I hope she likes them too. Isabelle and I spent last night at Kmart looking at tiny clothes for little boys and they were so cute, although not nearly as many as the cute little girl clothes. Isabelle popped up and said that one day she would love a baby girl so she could dress it in all the cute clothes. Funny enough she never really liked playing with dolls when she was younger unless one certain friend came over who loved it. Perhaps one day, quite a long way away I might be blessed with a little grand-daughter - now wouldnt that be nice.
Oh and Thursday night is the Melton knitting group night at the Melton Library from 7 - 8:30pm so if you feel up to it come and join us, we would love to have some more people come along. All you need to do is bring along a cup and your own tea, coffee or whatever your having! Hope to see you there.

The sweaters are gorgeous & I love the 2 different shades of blue. I love shopping for girls' clothes & wish my girls are still little.

They are so cute :) as a mum to twins myself I can tell you how much I appreciated it when people gave us different coloured things :) It enabled us to tell them apart by colour coding what they wear. To this day one twin still wears blue the other green.
Yes, the jumpers are lovely, I like the blues and the patterns. It is hard to find a lot of variety in boys' clothes.
What a perfect color combo for twin boys -- I'll bet the new mum will love them. Enjoyed the conversation between you and Isabelle. Having only boys, I missed all the girly fun -- my boys have already been ordered to produce female grandchildren LOL!
